Beekeeping Begnigna Mariarosa

The Begnigna Mariarosa Beekeeping is based in Seriate and has multiple locations for the production of honey between the Bergamo plain and the Orobic pre-Alps. In addition, the apiaries are always located in rural areas or within natural parks in order to guarantee a high quality of our products. We carry out direct sales at the Seriate headquarters!
The origins
apiary

Our company was officially born in 2007,  goal fruit of the passion for beekeeping cultivated since 1982.

Vision
apiary with beekeeper in Bergamo

Our beekeeping is aimed at obtaining high quality products. For this reason it was decided to maintain a structure with direct supervision that allows a capillary control of the products of the hive from their extraction in the apiary to the final stage of packaging.

Mission
pick them with honey

The products of the hive have organoleptic properties that cannot be found in any other food in nature. This is why we aim to bring the greatest number of consumers closer to these products, guaranteeing a high quality standard at low prices compared to the market.

Environment and Sustainability
flight of bees in the beekeeping apiary in Bergamo

A healthy environment is the main prerogative for the protection of bees and their products. For this reason, we have always tried to limit the use of chemical substances as much as possible and to favor integrated pest management and good farming practices.

Honey and pollen come packaged in glass jars which is a reusable material. Recycling glass contributes to saving resources and energy and reduces CO2 emissions.

This is why we have always collected the vases that our customers bring back to us and, to encourage this circular economy,

we offer to customers € 0.20 discount for each of our used jars that they bring back to us.
